Argument Mapping and Discourse Analysis

Can we use argument mapping techniques to enhance empirical discourse analysis? In a recent talk at KIT’s Science – Media – Communicaton Lab, I presented our experience in merging argumentation-theoretic and empirical discourse analysis so far.
